problem with FT-01 feedthrough

Hello!

I've a 6024E DAQ connected to a scc-2345 module with a FT-01 feedtrough configured like an analog output (J17). The output signal goes through a BNC pannelettes.
The problem is when I connect the BNC cable the output signal gets down and when I remove it the signal gets up. I use the BNC cable of a spectrum analyzer. what's the problem? maybe the impedance of the cable? what kind of BNC cable must I buy?

Thank you for your help

What is connected to the other end of the BNC cable? In other words, what is the load the analog output is driving?

I ask this because there is a maximum current the analog outputs on the 6024E can drive. The maximum current the analog outputs can drive is +/- 5 mA. So, if you are over-loading an analog output, the output voltage will be pulled-down because of this maximum current specification. I hope this helps.
