Setting up SCXI-1102 for a RTD

I have a SCXI-1102 and 100 OHM platinum RTDs.

They are conncted to a drive, if the drive is off, they read the correct temperature but when the drive is enabled the values jump about and are not constant.

I was just wondering if there is something wrong with the setup or could it be some kind of noise.

 See attachement for setup.

Try a samplerate >300Hz and mean the values of one second ...

Have a look at one RTD signal with the highest possible samplerate, you migth find that there is a lot of power line noise  (and higher frequencies if a electronic converter is used)

Henrik,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I am sampling at 1000 samples a second, so I don't think it is that butI have found some more information:

Looking through the documentation of the SCXI-1102 it tells me that I also need a SCXI-1581.

Am I correct or do you know different.
