Mtemp and Dtemp on TBX 1303 for use with SCXI 1102C

Can anyone tell me why the manual for the TBX 1303 on the Ni website shows a switch for Dtemp or Mtemp settings, however all the TBX 1303 Terminal blocks we have appear to be hard-wired for Dtemp. The SCXI module used is a 1102C. According to the manual the 1102C only supports Mtemp. Does this mean that I can't use the built in high accuracy CJC for thermocouples, and instead have to rely on a user input reference?
