Low temp type E Thermocouple measurement with SCXI 1100 and 1300 terminal block

Hi,

I would like to measure temperatures in the range of 30 - 100 K with type E thermocouples and the SCXI 1100 and 1300 Terminal block using daq assistant.

I have attempted to solve this problem for many weeks now.  Because I can't change the temp minimum in daq assistant, I attempted to convert the voltage of the thermocouple to temperature using my own fit from this table:    https://www.thermocoupleinfo.com/type-e-thermocouple.htm           but have been unsuccessful.

I have all the minus terminals daisy chained and hooked up to chassi ground, but have also tried a separate ground.  Neither method gives accurate conversion from voltage to temperature (Tdif+Tref) at lower temperatures.  I suspect that the issue is some lack of understanding of how to work and use the scxI hardware integrated with labview.

If you have any suggestions on how to either lower the minimum temp with Daqassistant or converting thermocouple voltage to temperature using the scxi hardware I would appreciate advice.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have a look and see if the links below help.  It looks like you will need to make your channels in MAX and use a table scale instead of the polynomial scale.
