DaqCard 6062E with SCXI-1001

I am attempting to use my SCXI-1001 box with my DaqCard 6062E and my new laptop. When the DaqCard is connected through an RC68-68 cable into my 1141 filters through the chassis adapter block (P/N unknown-68 pin) I lose functionality of my DaqCard (timeout error 10800, device not resonding at selected base address). Is this not the right cable? This system works when connected to a 6071E desktop based system and the appropriate cables.

Hello Dave,

It sounds as though your PCMCIA card is not installed properly. To verify the installation, disconnect your chassis and launch Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). You should see your device listed under Devices and Interfaces. Right-click on your your device and select Properties. Click Test Resources. If the device passes, try readding the chassis and repeating the test. Please let me know if the test fails in this case.

If the card failed with the chassis disconnected, do the following:
- Make sure you're running NI-DAQ 7.0. If not, uninstall the old driver and download the new driver at: <>
This will give you support under Traditi
onal NI-DAQ. Try the test again.
- Change PCMCIA slots
- Change laptops - be sure to install NI-DAQ 7 first.
