LabVIEW Tip: Delete a SubVI/node without reconnecting the wires

Select the SubVI/Node you want to delete, then press Ctrl – space (yes, the way to activate Quick Drop) and then press Ctrl – R. The SubVI/Node will be deleted and the wire is reconnected.

Since LabVIEW 2015 you can simply right click the node you want to remove and select "Remove and Rewire" option from the pop up menu and get the same effect.
