Software/Electrical Engineer position for Agilent Technologies. This position is located in Folsom, CA.
At Agilent Technologies, our exciting gas chromatography (GC) column's business, located in Folsom, California, is part of the Chemical Analysis Group's (CAG) growing Consumables portfolio. CAG's GC columns business is an industry leader in both market share and performance. To achieve these new heights, we are looking for a dynamic individual who has proven leadership abilities as a Software/Electrical Engineer for our Manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Design innovative manufacturing systems and continuous improvement solutions for production operations.
- Provide system-level support including configuration and installation of manufacturing software systems.
- Troubleshoot production software systems and manufacturing processes where required.
- Plan and track SW tasks, work within a configuration management system, and develop quality and test strategies.
- Lead design and status review meetings for individual projects and participate in project planning activities.
- Provide detailed and complete documentation, standardized design, and user operating procedures.
- Comply with Design Controls and Change Control processes, generate engineering change requests when required.
- Specify components, equipment, and software required for projects and production systems.
