I had written a driver for Watlow PM temperature controllers over a year ago and have been using it since then and I would get a periodic 6200 error(CRC) when I read back the temperature. I had to change the Motherboard on the PC and when that was done I would get this CRC error continuously and would give eronious temperature data. After some trouble shooting I finally contacted SAPHIR. They suggested displaying the info-out after the read in hex and that showed the controler was sending back extra charaters at which point they said it was a tranciever configuration problem. I was able to go into MAX and set the port up for 2-wire auto on the advanced tab. This was the key to resolving the issue and it now works as it did before. One final note; you also need to pay close attention to be consistent with you type cast since the contants can be easally confused between singles and doubles since they are both orange zeros and will also provide eronious data.
