zero reading from NI-9202, LabView FPGA Interface

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello!

I having a strange problem. NI-9202 reads only "0" from whatever channel (1..16).

In the same cRIO chassis (cRIO-9248) I have NI-9264 and the same FPGA code outputs signals I want, but reading is always 0 from 9202. RAW or Calibrated plays not role.

I am running in FPGA programming mode. I am sure that target-to-host data streaming via fpga referenced controls or DMA-FIFOs works fine (if I replace input node Mod1/AI0 with loop index or numerical constant).

Any ideas?

The 9202 module configuration is below:

Some code (I know you will ask for that 😉

There is a combination of two problems for this issue:

 1) In the code. In FPGA mode the NI-9202 must get Start command as well as sampling and filtering rates (see below a pic)

 2) The NI-9202 is faulty 😯

I have two 9202, one works fine but the other one is faulty, could not be detected. In fact, when I insert this faulty one the other neighboring module (what so ever) will not be detected as well. The module will be sent for repair.

Also check the Card and Chassis FPGA/RT configuration in NI MAX.
