write to measurement file in crio

Hi all,

I want to use write to measurement file in crio project but if I use write to measurement file in my project vi, my project doesn't work.  If I delete write to measurement file in my vi, my program doesn't work anymore. I don't know how to solve this problem.

This is Andrew Brown, an Applications Engineer from National Instruments. To clarify what you are seeing, I would appreciate if you could answer the following:

1. Does the VI within the cRIO LabVIEW project run?

2. Are you attempting to write data to your computer or to the cRIO?

3. In your project not working, what symptoms are you experiencing?

On a hunch, in order to use the Write to Measurement File Express VI to save data to a cRIO, you need to set up the file path format. An excellent resource on this topic is Creating the Correct File Path Format for LabVIEW Real-Time Targets. Based on the Real Time operating system of your controller, the main directory path on the cRIO should begin in either C:/ or /c/
