photon counting and synchronization with raster scanning

Guys, Need some serious help. I am using the attached vi for photon counting with SPCM AQRH 13  model photon counting module with a 6032E daq and 2110 BNC connector block. This vi works for me when I keep running more than one channel and dwell time greater than 5 msec. However this runs only in continuous mode. I tried finite sample and it errored. I need it for imaging purpose where I am raster scanning the sample using a xy stage. I need it to be synchronized with the stage. So that it counts photon for the given dwell time when the detector is fixed at a particular pixel. Stops and then begins again when the stage moves to a new pixel. 

I also need help with the data saving.

Hi,

Finite sampling will use a slightly different structure than the continuous sampling. A good place to start is the example programs found in LabVIEW.

There are examples in this folder for both continuous and finite samples. You can also find good examples for writing data files in the example finder
