I am currently working on a myRIO-1900 based CAN bus compatible system for a competition car ECU. I already managed to achieve fully working communication via 2 CAN buses, using a MCP2562+MCP2515 approach through SPI.
I also saw already existing Stratom X-CAN adapters, but they wouldnt do it with my PCB design, so I discarded them
However, performing some investigation I checked that the Xilinx Zynq XC7Z010 SoC which the myRIO-1900 is based on is CAN bus compatible (2 port). Why doesnt the myRIO-1900 state that? Could the myRIO-1900 be natively CAN bus compatible?
