moving files to another FTP sever

I am trying to engineer a long-term monitoring embedded system that may produce significant amounts of data. I want to use a CompactRIO with USB mass storage support, but I still need to move the data off the ComactRIO to another computer.

Is it possible to use the CompactRIO as an FTP client? I am also considering using a NAS that can be configured to automatically synchronize itself with the FTP server of the CompactRIO.

Hi Aart-Jan,

You can use the cRIO to send data to a FTP server. You can use the internet toolkit. The FTP VIs from the Internet Toolkit simply use low-level TCP/IP calls.
