how to install Comedi for RTAI

When I install RTAI, there is an option Comedi v0.7.47, and the installtion manual said this option installs Comedi v0.7.47 into /usr/src/comedi-0.7.47/. Does this mean that Comedi has already been installed? But I can't find Comedilib.

FYI, NI does have register level programming source code available for a wide range of boards that can be used to program the hardware in Linux and other operating systems. Contact you local sales person to determine if code for your specific hardware is available.
