We are trying to use a cdaq 9191 with ni 9234 module on Linux openSUSE Leap 15.0 with kernel 4.12.14.
We installed the drivers from this link. following the instructions.
I have managed to get the system working under windows using python, however running the same script under Linux gives me the following error:
NetworkDAQDeviceNotSupportedError: Device cannot be created in MAX because a driver could not be found for the device. You may need to upgrade NI-DAQmx.
Based on the response on our previous question, we had good hope we can use this device under Linux. Does the means that the device cannot be used with Linux after al or is there a driver for this device we can download from somewhere?
