cRIO 9082, NI 9751 Module not found

Hello,

I'm using cRIO 9082, NI 9751 (2) and NI 9411 (1) devices to actuate Piezo Injectors. The controllers are configured using SCM 2015.

Prior to the use of cRIO 9082, I used cRIO 9066 and was able to successfully calibrate the controllers. Ever since, I switched to 9082, I've been having some issues.

I've setup ethernet connection to the chassis (9082), and I can go online and start the application in SCM 2015.

When I select Driver 1 Setup on the Driver setup window, I see that DI1_Module Present is OFF. Which means the NI 9751 module is not being recognized. I tried the following exercise and had no luck:

  • Opened Driver 2 Setup
  • Switched NI 9751 modules on different slots in the 9082 chassis
  • Ensured that power supply to 9751 is proper

I'm not sure what the problem is. Have anyone of you had this issue before? Kindly guide me through this.

Thanks,

Pavan

Hi Pavan, I looked through the NI 9751 user manual to see if there are any issues with cRIO compatibility and it only specifies certain conditions for if you are wanting to use it with the 911x, 907x, and NI R series expansion systems.

For the NI 9082, does it have an RTOS or WES7?
