Hi,
I am using LV 2018 SP1. I have a cRIO 9053, with NI CompactRIO 18.5 drivers. I have 2 modules. NI 9862 (CAN module) and NI 9421 (Digital I/P). I created a project and added the cRIO. By default, both modules appeared under "Real- time Resource" (DAQ-mx mode). But was able to drag and drop NI 9421 under " Real- time Scan Resource". But when trying to add CAN module it shows some error "This C series module is not supported by the installed versions of Labview and NI compact RIO Module support".
Please find the attachment with all the details and screenshots.

HI,
I just wanted to add one more detail. cRIO is configured to be in FPGA mode.
I have already visited the below link but did not help me

Thanks,

Hi Nammiraj,
The NI 9862 C Series module requires the NI-XNET driver; therefore is only supported with the "Real-Time" programming mode on the cRIO-904x and cRIO-905x controllers. These modules do not support the "Real-Time Scan Resource" nor the "FPGA" programming modes.
Link to the NI-XNET Readme:
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/374802n.htm
"When using a cRIO-904x, NI 986x modules will only be usable in Real-Time mode, and no bit stream is necessary."
We will update this readme to also include the cRIO-905x controllers as the above quote text is true for all cRIO controllers with DAQmx.
Please let me know you have further questions or comments,
Tanner
