cRIO-9053 Profinet protocol

Hello:

I have a cRIO-9053 with a NI9234 module in which I am measuring acceleration and sound. I would like to send the data in real time to an platform. I need to do using profinet protocol. Is it mandatory to use the https://www.ni.com/es-es/shop/select/c-series-profinet-interface-module profinet slave module?

Hi,

the answer to your question is yes: if you have a cRIO, you must use a C Series module such as the cRIO-PN-S module.

As I said I need a real time communication with another system and profinet seems to be the most suitable, but I was not sure if it is mandatary to use the C series module.
