Hi,
I have a cRIO-9024 with NI-VISA 14.0.0 installed. When I try to create a new VISA remote resource I get the following error:
"Measurement & Automation Explorer is unable to crate a VISA resource on this system.
Either NI-VISA is not installed on this system, or NI-VISA does not support creating new resources on this type of system."
Now, the datasheet states that "the CompactRIO controllers include built-in servers for Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA)" and indeed the VISA server is installed.
Is it possible to use and access VISA resources from the cRIO-9024? What am I doing wrong?
Thank you

same problem here. Did you find the solution?

As suggested here, I hardcoded the VISA resource name following the expected format:
https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P8wTSAS&l=pt-BR
In my case: TCPIP0::10.20.51.39::1394::SOCKET
I'm working with Keithley 6221 Current Source and cRIO-9024. This works fine for me.
