Wire Drawing,Temperature Measurement

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I would like to ask a question about temperature measurement of wires. We have standart galvanizing process that contains wire drawing machines, anneling furnaces etc. I would like to measure temperature of wire end of the furnace via something as contact. Fundamental problems are wire movement and high temperature (about 850-900 Celcius) Is it possible ? Is there any measurement device to do this ?

What about using thermocouples? I think they'd be ideal for this application.

There are different NI platforms and modules that will help you do thermocouple measurements.
