Temperature measurement system

Hi!

Anybody know how to connect the NI 9213 temperature modules to the PC with LabVIEW over approximately  200 meters? I do need to connect 10 modules to the 1 measurement system (160 total measurements channels)

Gigabit ethernet can get you 100 meters, so maybe use a POE extender to get you there? If you need 10 modules, maybe 2 CDAQ Chassis?

If I am right understood, the temperature measurement modules (like NI-9213) had to "plugs" into the CDAQ Chassis  (like cDAQ-9181)

and this chassis can connect via ethernet to the switch and then to the  PC with controlled software like LabView?

Is this idea correct? (I like the 1 slot chassis  due to needs for the distributive over the football size field with more then 160 thermocouples)

Yes, your understanding is correct. You might also want to consider one of the WIFI chassis if that's an option for you.
