Set time is forgotten after a power cycle

Here's what I'm observing:

  • I set the time on my sbRIO (9627 RT Linux)
    • For example, using MAX, I expand remote systems, click on my target, navigate to the time settings tab, type in a new "current time", click save.
  • I check the time and everything looks great
    • For example, close max, reopen and check the "current time" tab
  • I pull the power and reapply power and allow the target to reboot
  • I check the time and notice the time I set is no longer active

Hello nanocyte,

This is expected behavior. Please refer to this KB

I'm not sure what part of that article you're referring to. The 9627 has a battery backup so it should survive a power cycle.
