Real-time timed loop

Hi, 

I used real-time timed loop to get acceleration data from NI 9234 (cRIO) and loop timing source is 'scan engine'. 

The scan period is 1ms. 

But when I checked the saved data, the period was not 1ms, it was 0.004~0.005s. 

What is the problem?

That IO module cannot have its sample rate set to an arbitrary value, but it is configurable.See the data rates section in this:

You would need to set the timed loop to match the sample rate you choose. But you may also need to use FPGA rather than scan engine.
