Hi community,
After doing research, I recognized that the creating 'executable' real time files were not as similar compared to non real time ones. So after a few attempts, I am attempting to create a real time executable file for use outside of the LabVIEW environment on another PC. The PC does have NI Run Time installed. I have created a real time application, and have a rtexe file. So far I understand it as this.
1. Create .rtexe file
2. Deploy it into cRIO
3. Launch it as a start up application.
However I am unable to see where I can send files (rtexe, alias) or create installers if the start up application is supposed to 'start up' whenever the cRIO is rebooted on the PC. I want to avoid using remote front panels... Is there an 'easy' way to file transfer or create a real time executable file that I could open through a non LabVIEW environment? I plan to use the same hardware and connections (ethernet cable).
Thank you!
