I have a RT VI that is running a couple of motors and solenoids as well as monitoring a sensor and logging this data to a compact rio.
If I run the RT VI from my laptop with the compactrio, the program runs as expected. However, when I disconnect from the crio, the program stops. If I create a .rtexe and deploy this to the crio and run as startup, the program does not run as expected.
I am not sure what is causing these issues - has anyone seen this before?
What do you mean when you say that the program does not run as expected when deployed as a startup exe?
I see you have an open FPGA VI reference; is this also setting the FPGA VI to run? This can also be done as a separate invoke node, and often I'll set up handshaking between FPGA/RT to occur before normal operation proceeds.
