Has anyone ever used the cRIO 904x's RS485 serial port to interface to an RS422 device? I have a device outputting ASCII data which I can see if I hook it up to an RS422-RS232 converter and input it into the RS232 port on the cRIO using the VISA test panel. If I run it into the RS485 port, I get data but it is garbled. I have tried a few different wiring settings but haven't had any luck. The VISA test panel for the RS485 port still shows options for hardware flow control but those don't seem applicable for RS485.
I see most posts in the forum relating to RS422 are using a plugin module instead of the built in RS485 port.
