Options grayed out in Application Build window

When building an application for deployment in RT, options in the first window are grayed out - options for program location, etc. Is this due to "launch VI at startup" option?

Tommy,

You are close, but slightly off the mark. The lack of ability to change the program destination when building to an RT Target is becuase the path and name are set in the RT Target Options: Miscellaneous page. These are the start-up path and start-up name that are above and below the Launch VI At Startup option.

One way in which you can help out, even as a novice user, is to rate answers to your posts with the built in rating sytem. 1 star = poor, 5 stars = great. This helps in several ways. Posts with ratings are more visible than posts without ratings. Some users will review the boards looking for very good answers as a way to learn more. Additionally, you provide feedback as to which users are better sources of knowledge/answers. A previous version of the forums had the ability to subscribe to all posts by a certain user, and users would subscribe to certain users that had very high ratings because they knew they would learn a lot from them.
