This error normally occurs when the board is not correctly installed and configured in the computer. It is pretty hard to tell exactly what the error might be if I don't have more specifc information, such as:
Driver Versions?
Function that is returning the error code?
Previous functions called?
Board was properly configured in MAX?
Works using Test Panels?
Etc..
