Hi,
I'm using a XNET LIN interface (NI-USB 8506) and I wanted to know if there was a way to control the slew rate.
If not, is there another device that can be used for that ?
Thanks for your answers
Best regards

Hi Alexis,
There seems to be no control of slew rate in the XNET API at all.
It looks like this isn't something that exists too much - it looks like NXP make a device that does this, but I can't find too much information on the topic.
Why do you want to control the slew rate?
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your answer.
We want to reduce the radiated emission by reducing the slew rate of the LIN communication's nibble

Hi Alexis,
I'm afraid that NI currently can't do that for you; I can recommend looking at various three-terminal filters or capacitors on the bus to help with this, but otherwise I'm afraid you'll be looking elsewhere if you're experiencing large noise from LIN.
Best wishes,
Nick
