I have a very simple question : Does it possible to connect cRIO-905* chassis to PoE ports of an NI-IC317* and use it to supervise them (like an ethernet switch)?
You won't be able to supervise them as a switch, the IC has individual Ethernet network cards, which prevent the 'switching' you are trying to do. You can connect the cRIO to the IC but this will only be for an individual line of communication. Powering the cRIO will not be possible either as I believe it requires more power than the Ethernet can supply.
