The Lab I work with is using a Compact Rio chassis model 9076 with 4 modules as a measurement and controller via an executable program. For the most part it works great except one portion. The 9265 module that controls a ball valve responds to user input with approximately a 5 second lag. I attached a screenshot of a test VI I made that isolates just this one control, hoping that if the program was only tasked with one comand then there should be no delay since the cpu usage would be so much lower. But instead this program just features the input delay. Is there something I am missing that would get rid of this input to action delay?
