Measure resistance using 4 wires with NI 4065

Hello,

I would like to measure the resistance of 2 elements alternatively which with the NI 4065 but without moving wires. I have attached drawing where you can see I activate alternatively output 1 and 2. Will that work with NI 4065?

Thanks!

Yeah, that should work.

I would assume your device is some sort of multiplexer and you want to measure the contact resistance?

Not exactly but you are right I have to measure the contact resistance. I don't want to move the probes so that's why I thought of a device which would switch the different outputs so I could measure the resistance.

This works only if there is no other electrical leakage on the other path.

Ideally you would not measure the resistance in-circuit when powered. Could you please provide more information about your device?

There would not be any leakage on the other side since the Logo (or a NI device) would not activate the digital output. Maybe if there is a need for more details I can send you a PM? Thank you nonetheless!
