Max does not recognise my 7344 control boards on RT system

I have a computer set up running the RT OS, it has three PCI 7344 cards in it.I have downloaded the RT motion software to the target PC. The computer is recognised in MAX, but the boards will not appear under devices and interfaces. What do I need to do for these to be recognised?

Hi Jim,

This depends on what type of PC you are using. If you are using a PXI chassis as a real time environment and targetting it from your host PC, then there should be no problem. Check that you have all of the drivers installed correctly.

If you are using a normal PC as a real time system, this is unfortunetly not supported by National Instruments and we have been unable to get it to work.
