Is it possible to test a cross-compiled project for a NI Real Time System in a Virtual Machine or any other option different than a physical NI RT?

Solved!
Go to solution

I am compiling a C++ code in my Windows Machine, using VS Code and all the recommended setup, but I do not have access to hardware with a NI Linux Real-Time, I was required to build a development machine on my computer, is that possible?

All the tutorials suggest an FTP + SSH connection to make the communication between the building machine and the target system. But I only have my computer right now thanks to lockdown.

Any help would be appreciated.
