have input of 1khz(4 step waveform) modulated over 70Mhz.i need to extract amplitude level of each step.For that i need to sample the incoming AM signal.what rate should i sample so that i could get 4 step levels.what functions should i use.please help me.Hi Mahi,
Assuming all steps are of same duration the steps are changing at 4Khz. If you take at least ten samples at each level this would give 40kHz minimum. The acquired signal should be run through a low pass filter to prevent aliasing from the carier signal.
