I have created application-algorithm which should run on PC with Windows, Labview 2010 with Real Time.
The algorithm is inside the real time loop (I know that Windows has 1kHz clock) so I would like to generate signal with this frequency - 1000samples/sec. Signal generated by algorithm is sent to cRIO (9076) with 9505. 9505 updates output faster then I want (probably 20us). On RIO (9076 with 9505) I have a application which controls DC engine.
Can anybody tell me if it is possible to send 1000samples/second (generated by algorithm on PC Windows Host) to 9505 which will also update its output with this rate (1000 time per second) ?
I read that I can use shared variables or DMA FIFO to perform this task. What kind of method is the best? Which method can support this speed? Is it possible?
