How apply filter in studio 2005

Hi!

I am for the firs time trying to create a application that uses NI 9237 connected to USB-9162 and a LPC5000. I have managed to read signals (strain) but the "noice" makes measurment inprecice. After reading i think that a filter is the right way to go. But i cant figure out how to apply it my application. I use Visual studio 2005. I am sure this is pretty simple but i cant find any example code.

I guess that the "CWDAQTools " mentioned in the link above is a "drag and drop" component of some sort, perhaps a part of measurement studio (witch I don't have), anyway I can't find it. (excuse me for poor language I am from Sweden)
