I am trying to copy the .daq file I created on one system to another system. For some reason, my computers will not read this file for copying. Either from a floppy or over the network. Why is this file so special? Instruction on how to transport this file would be nice.
If you have windows NT or 2000, your user might not have read access to c:/winnt/niconfig.daq. Also MAX might have the file open while you are trying to read it. If this is the case you can open MAX and choose Tools->NI-DAQ->Save Configuration and save the configuration to a new file. Then copy that file over to the other system.
