Failed to load nican

I'm using a 9853 CAN module in a 9074 CompactRio integrated chassis. I tried to read a CAN signal with the typical ope-read/write-close format, but there were errors when I ran the VI saying that it failed to load the ni-can toolkit. Also, I read somehwere on this site that the frame channel conversion may need to be used. Are the things compatible with the hardware I'm using? What else cold the problem be?

It sounds like you need the NI-985x driver.  I have a KnowledgeBase linked that should provide you more information.
