Hi to everybody,
I've got the following deployment error:
Deployment failed (error: -1967357949, IAK_SHARED: (Hex 0x8ABC8003)
Which is the procedure to avoid this?
Thanks
Maurizio.

Hi Maurizio,
Are you using a RIO device and shared variables in your application?
The error is caused by the Network Variable Engine not being installed on the RIO, as detailed in this KnowledgeBase article, which should also guide you through the process of rectifying the issue.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if this doesn't solve the issue.

Thanks Chris,
with your suggestion, I fixed the problem.
However I had to go through the "Custom Software Installation" option to install this required addon because, on the standard path for software installation, it said that the option was already installed.
Regards,
Maurizio.

Error indicates that your RT target is missing some software. I would recommend going to NI-MAX and check if 'Network Variable Engine' is installed on your controller.
EDIT:
Based on the backround google search in your screenshot it looks like you "looked" for it 🙂 . If you have NI-RIO installed you already have it, you just need to install it to controller via NI-MAX.
Here is a general guide how to install software to the controller:

Hi,
you can't install the software because your cRIO isn't seen in MAX. Make sure that all your physicall connections are right, then follow these steps if you can't see your device in the network:

I hope it can help you.
