Connecting Thermocouple to NI 9209 & cRIO 9075

I am having NI cRIO 9075 along with NI 9205 module now , I want to connect (B/E/J/K/R/N/S/T) Thermocouple. please suggest me the process should I need to have signal conditioning or in software level things can be sorted out.

Well, while better suited than the 9209, (200mV range) still not a good solution to read thermocouples. Dedicated DAQ hardware to directly connect TCs have them build in.

Read some basics on how a TC sensor works and how to use it. Wikipedia? NI also has some information on that.

You will need a CJC (cold junction connector) with another temperature sensor.

At one point you need to connect the TC sensor cable (build from two different materials)  with the input to your DAQ (same material). That's the CJC. You need to know the temerature at that connection, since it has a direct influence on your measurement.

What range, reading speed, resolution and accuracy do you need?

Where  do you what to measure?
