We want to carry out a very fast RT application (acquisition of 2 signals at 5 MHz and processing). We do have the application notes about the PC requirements (800 Mhz FSB, disable USB... and all that). We know as well that DELL GX280 is a common choice. However, we would like to know if someone has worked at our rates and which other PC models or special characteristics (processor...) works fine, especially as jitter is concerned. Any suggestion is welcomed.
