Dears,
I have a simple automation / control task which could be programmed on an FPGA only with out the need for a CRIO.
Can I use NI 9147 expansion chassis as stand alone FPGA Controller with startup FPGA.
Thanks for your help

I imagine you will want some time of HMI for your controller. For that, you can just use a windows PC that is set up to communicate with this FPGA chassis through the variables. The PC would really just read status variables and set the control variables/set values. I have been wanting to give this a try myself. I say give it a try and then let us know what you have found.
