Acquisition of analog and digital signals simultaneously

Good morning everyone,
i have the following equipment:
- NI cDAQ-9189
- NI 9239 (Analog)
- NI 9401 (Digital)

I'm trying to acquire a digital signal and an analog signal both generated by a function generator.

The goal is to capture both signals and overlap them in one graph.

I'm not very experienced in these types of acquisitions so any suggestion is welcome! 🙂

Here is an amazing example video from NI how to generate analog/digital signals with NI x-serais modules. Try to replicate and marge resulted signals together for outputting on one graph by using this article.
