I need to make RF power measurements on an 802.11 device 2.4 & 5.0GHz. Is there a way to use the NI USB-5680 to make RF burst measurements on the TX out of my device? My preference would be to set the RF meter to trigger a measurement when a burst is detected above a set threshold. Does the NI USB-5680 support this functionality? My device does not have the capability to send a digital trigger to the meter during the burst period.
Unfortunately, the USB-5680 only supports immediate or software triggering. However, the USB-5681 does support internal threshold triggering in Scope and Time Slot acquisition modes.
