Configuring PXI-5691

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

We have the RF Amplifier PXI-5691. I have been using the RFSA Soft panel for PXIe-5644R VST. Now, I need to increase the Tx power. What I understand is that I will connect the output of 5644R to the input of the 5691 then take the output of 5691 as my final output. If this is right, is there any soft panel like the RFSA soft panel which I can use to program the gain of the RF amplifier?

Thanks

Hi mhammouda,

The NI-5690 driver which supports the PXI-5691 does not have its own soft front panel. To work with it, you’ll need to use LabVIEW, CVI, or C.

I was able to find some example code where someone has made something similar to a soft front panel.
