The answer to this question may not be so clear. Many seasoned programmers are surprised that some of the most advanced LabVIEW programmers use global variables for certain applications. At this session, explore some of those applications, examine the alternatives to globals, and learn when globals are the most effective solution. Audience participation is strongly encouraged at this session.

I am very much looking forward to your session at NI Week 2016, as well as this advanced users track. I almost always use FGV's to store variable type information within LabVIEW projects I work on, looking forward to hearing about different methods & ideas for sharing variable type information within LabVIEW!

For those who came to my session, thank you for a good discussion!  It was a packed house (I was told 250 for mine) and things are going well so far for the Advanced User Track.  I think there is going to be another site where we can dive into further discussions.  I will post a link as soon as I have it.
