Professors at Cardiff University encourage their students to use LabVIEW and the NI platform in final-year projects such as autonomous electric cars, submersible vehicles, and hovercraft. However, without adequate prior LabVIEW programming experience, completing systems-level designs such as these can be quite difficult. To remedy this problem, the university has integrated NI platform tools in the early years of the curriculum. Through this strategy, different NI hardware platforms are used each year with LabVIEW as the common thread. At this session, hear about the successful results of this approach.
