Abstract: When testing a vehicle’s instrument cluster in a black-box manner, you must overcome many challenges to ensure proper operation and conformance with the functional requirements. At this session, learn about the key elements for these types of test, including vision inspection and character recognition, real-time control and acquisition of analog and digital signals, and test sequencing and execution. Also explore examples of how Hyundai and Volvo Construction Equipment incorporated these elements using the NI PXI hardware platform combined with LabWindows™/CVI real-time software and a Windows-based test management software application.
