Abstract: With the increased electronic complexity in trains and more system safety requirements, you need to find errors and bugs early in the development process. Instead of developing expensive train prototypes to find these bugs, learn how Safran Engineering Services borrowed a concept from aerospace to build a complete “iron train” using 21 NI PXI chassis that simulated the entire train’s electronics for faster and more cost-effective testing.
